Sneaky surprises

I kept telling Jen that I wasn't able to stay on Thursday night, despite taking Friday off because Gma had concerns about taking care of Pepper all Thursday and Friday too... She got off of work Thursday night after I had been at her place helping her with lil man and had a few surprises...

I had rearranged her room to unblock the chi and to see her reaction honestly (she loved it, though it's not completely organized yet because I didn't want to dig through all her shit...she'll need to know where everything is.)

A few other things were up my sleeve as well....You see I had arranged for my mom to watch Pepper so that Gma would fret and piss my mom off by calling her with some made up story about Pepper getting into something she shouldn't or whatever...I took Pepper to mom's house on Wednesday night.  I packed my bag, put it in the trumk.  After work Thursday I headed to Jens, according to plan.  I did all my "good deeds" while she was at work and when she got home, she was expecting me to go--but I didn't.  I stayed at her place for the first time in MONTHS...I'd stay more but her roommate won't allow pets and I can't leave Pepper for that long.  I was so stealthy in my mind...I even blogged prior to talking about how I'd be unable to stay.

It was a nice surprise I'd say and I always sleep so good in her bed next to her.  Three great things...A beautiful woman, a mattress constructed from sheer ecstasy, and being relaxed after some dirty kinky fun (funny how i say that even with it's the more soft sensual sex stuff, ha)...

I got up on Friday earlier than planned because lil man came in the bedroom and was like, Tommy Tommy, Wanna see my bus...he was stoked so I couldn't refuse.  I had a bowl of Trix while I waited...had my retinas burned out when I opened the door to see him get on the bus...I got a kick out of the fact that he needed to poop two seconds before the bus got there.  He was quick and I got ass wiping duty while Jen waited at the door in case the bus got there before he was done....pants up and out the door just in time...I couldn't help but laugh.

Off I went to work on my paper.  I'm proud to announce that after 14 hours of work I completed my pseudo-masterpiece: The GLBT Workplace: Discrimination, Domestic Partnership Benefits, and Diversity Awareness on the Job was complete.  There were a few hours spent taking a break and stretching my ass which had become quite tired of sitting.  Saturday brought another 14 hour paper writing spree.  This time a business plan for my fake business called Different Strokes, Inc.--a Diversity Awareness Consulting Firm...
That one I'll be happy to get a C on...I'm burned out.  Jen did help me out a great deal when I couldn't figure something out in Excel to save my life and she comes over and is all like...oh just do it this way...wow, wish I would have just asked you like an hour ago so I wouldnt have spent so much time trying to figure shit out.

Sunday, was another three and half hours spent doing the rest of my homework that was due by midnight.  Then I weeded the flowerbed (a project I had hoped to complete a week earlier)--it was actually refreshing.  I borrowed some gloves from mom so I didnt have to worry so much about touching spiders directly...no snakes, THANK GOD, and only one gigantic spider (like the one that tried to eat me that day, Don't touch me) so, the mums are now planted.  Yay.

A trip to moms to find Mandi had drank half a bottle of Castor Oil in an attempt to induce labor...weird.  Grandma put me over the edge, but I was still polite.  I feel like i haven't had a single day off despite it being the weekend.  I just have to make it through this last week of Finals and I'm done...then I can sleep and sleep and sleep....dammit...i was going to go to bed early...i'm exhausted.  It's 11:30 already, still have to walk the dog and then get up at 5:30 FUCK ME.

Grandma's going overboard

I love this lady but she is turning me into someone that I am not.  I'm always on the defense with it comes to her.  She's the sweet lil old lady one minute and a complete bitch the next.  She has developed this new way of accusing me of things without directly saying that I did them.  For example, today a lid wouldn't fit on the tupperware container she was putting leftovers in.  She mentioned to Jen how the dishwasher was ruining all of her stuff.  Jen tells me this and I asked Jen if it was one of the white bowls...she didn't know.

Later, Grandma mentioned it to me and I told her I bet it was one of the white bowls wasn't it...the lids haven't gone on easy in all the freakin' years I've lived here.  So then I got a lecture about how that her tupperware was made in the days before dishwashers so even though they say dishwasher safe (yes ladies and gentlemen--they say it on the bottom) I'm fucking them up by putting them in the dishwasher, even on the top rack because I mean what else could it be...it probably has NOTHING to do with the fact that they were the first bowls to ever come off the tupperware assembly line...jesus lady.

Later, she brought up that the plant on the sunroom porch had ruined the carpet underneath (something I told her about last year, but became apparent again when my uncle overwatered it a couple of weeks ago.  She has decided that the bottom part (which holds the overflow water) is cracked.  Okay, I'll agree to that. Here's where it gets better...it was most likely cracked when it got moved...one of the MANY times it's been moved over the years...she put extra emphasis on the many.... (i'm the only one who has moved it ever)...

Again the crack couldn't be attributed to the fact that the fucking plant is so big (she got it as a wedding present over 55 years ago) and it weighs like over 100 pounds... it's weight alone could have cracked it...who knows, but yep, I'm being blamed for it.

She got into this habit because I clean out the fridge on the regular.  She is famous for cooking shit that is bad and I don't enjoy food poisoning or botchilism (sp?)  She made sausage gravy biscuits one morning with RANCID sausage.  But because she had pulled it from the freezer there's no way it could be bad (the label on the freezer bag said, 1974)  JESUS CHRIST LADY....

If I'm not home when she cooks, I don't eat.  There's weird shit in the fridge like squirrel for instance.  (Which I actually helped skin, fucking grossest experience of my life)... I've tried squirrel before, (and rabbit, and turtle, and frog, etc....) I'm from the country, but I'm not Country... I'll eat the hell out of some deer meat though, if its cooked right...but i digress.  This lady is trying to kill me... I know it. On the plus side, I've eaten so much weird shit, I'm bound to have built up some sort of freakish immunity to many things..I guess time will tell.

For now, my goal is getting through this last week of classes, updating the resume and finding a job that will pay me enough to be able to pay rent...Folks think i have a sweet deal happening here with not having to pay rent and all...but at this point if feels more like I sold my soul to the devil for a free place to leave.  This place has it's perks...but I can't take it much longer.  It's gonna break gma's heart and I don't want to do that...but for my own sanity I've gotta do what I've gotta do.

Don't judge me

So I log into my class meeting tonight and was immediately pissed off.  This broad that is in my group always ticks me off...she's all oblivious and "life is so hard for her" because she's taking this one course and she gets up early in the morning...oh really I'm taking this one, PLUS TWO OTHERS YOU EFFING DOUCHE BAG... but whatever.  So tonight she says hello and I respond with a "hey" in return...then she does it...

Her: How far are you with your research paper?

(already I can tell that she's trying to compete with me because she's feeling pretty confident about the progress she's made)...

Me: I haven't started it yet

Her: OMG!!! Really??? I can't imagine not having started yet

(translation, oh my god, you're going to flunk...)

Her: I'm on page 13 of 20

(Want a fucking gold star)

Me: I took tomorrow off, I'll get it done then...I'm passionate about my topic so it's not going to be a task to get it done, it will fly by...

Her: Oh...what's your paper on

Me: Domestic Partnership Benefits and diversity awareness in the workplace in relation to homosexuals

Her: So where is everybody else at...

(translation, omg you're gay...I'm scared to be in this chatroom with you, what if I catch it, lol)

Blow me.  Blow me. Blow me.

I'm so ready for school to be over.  I'm not in the mood to like people right now.  Jen is home :)

Faux mom

So I've mentioned before that I agreed to help Jen out with lil man on Thursday nights since that is her late night at work... Tonight was the first night and well Jen might kill me.

Don't get me wrong, I did a fine job with lil man (as always if I do say so myself)--the lil guy loves me and I'm not going to lie, I really like being one of the two super heroes in his life.  I say it that way because lil man refers to us as MOMMY and TOMMY which just makes me smile and makes me think of Batman and Robin, or Spongebob and Patrick... a dynamic duo in our own right.

The reason Jen may kill me is because while she was out I decided to rearrange her bedroom to unblock the chi that was trapped in it.  Since I've known her the only thing she has moved was a single cabinet.  I can't help it...the way it was arranged always kind of irked the living shit out of me.  Before it didn't matter because we were too busy having sex for me to give a shit about feng shui... it still shouldn't matter because we still have lots of sex, just from the comforts of my place instead.... today it was an issue because well I just couldnt take it anymore.  My class meeting wasn't until 9 and lil man didn't have to be in bed until 8:30... I had an hour to kill and well I chose rearranging her furniture as a way to procrastinate even further on my paper.

The kicker is that now that I've rearranged her room I realized that subconsciously I was testing the waters.  Testing us.  We hit ten months, so yes...still fairly new compared to others, but dammit you have to start somewhere.  I am ridiculous when it comes to rearranging furniture...I move shit around like every two weeks...just for the hell of it or when things just feel chaotic in my life.... I guess that on some weird level I wanted to be able to see if she could handle that about me.  She knows that I do it to my own stuff....but with me having plans to eventually move in with her sexy ass when the time is right.... I have to know that she can handle me doing it to her shit as well, lol.  I need a hobby.

I didn't go through her stuff, just moved the big stuff and piled her personal stuff for her to go through on her own... maybe it will be okay...I'm anxious for her to get home so that I can see her reaction.  Hopefully she wont freak out.

I dunno, I've said it before...I have no desire to have my own kid, but I'm in love with a woman that has one and I love him too....I like being a faux mom... a second mommy... I can be there to help, I discipline when necessary, but really what it all boils down to is that I'm this chick that hangs out with his mom all the time and loves the two of them, can transform his transformers, most of the time on command, and LOVE legos... lol...I'm his pal.

I'm many things to many people...but to these two I feel pretty damn awesome and wicked special.

Perninium

After spending three hours yesterday training a guy that was scheduled to start this morning, I get into the office and see an email from my boss.  She had forwarded me an email from one of the floor supervisors with their staffing needs for tomorrow (keep in mind it's now 10 minutes before the end of my shift)... Okay not a problem i can call these people out, let's keep it moving (I was a little peeved to say the least that I had been on the floor like the majority of the day and the supervisor didn't even bother trying to tell me in person AND I WORK RIGHT HERE ON SITE...so yes, my invisibility has been confirmed)... Around this same time my phone vibrates with a reminder about a new voicemail (one that I had received about 15 minutes prior, but was training and couldn't answer it on the floor because of OSHA regulations and such...but I digress)... It was another supervisor telling me that he didn't need any contractors for the next two days... I already knew that the volume forecasted was leaning towards a "limited work force" (which means contractors get told no work first and the permanent folks only under dire circumstances...this is the nature of the staffing world...you live with)...

So, at five o'clock I call an end to my ten hour day after calling 35 contractors (sometimes two different numbers) to let them know not to report back to work until Monday and that checks will be with security on Friday type of thing... I missed the chance to meet Jen and lil man for dinner like we had planned, but did make it to the restaurant in time for them to be winding down their meal and for lil man to tell me about his second day of school.  A fifteen minute visit is better than none I say, though longer is always better.

I left there contemplating a haircut.  The hair on the back of my neck is driving me batty and I needed it taken up a bit...(I was trying to avoid this because I tend to ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS end up butchered and wishing I had just done it myself, but when it comes to the more feminine styles I have a hard time working on the back because one slip up and I have to cut a lot of it to fix it--if I'm using the clippers I'm fine...) I got an oil change while I made up my mind about the haircut.  All the guys there were commenting on, "What the hell? You went from a Dodge Ram 1500 to a Hyundai Tiburon...wtf?"  These are not guys that I hang out with on the regular, but they learned a long time ago from my various stickers and license plate that I'm pretty cool to talk to when I'm there.  They liked the new car overall, were impressed by it and the "Save a tree eat a Beaver decal on the side window" and as always got a laugh from the VAGYNA license plate.  I figure I have a few more years of this plate before Lil man can put two and two together, deeming the plate inapppropriate.

A trip to the bank to deposit some money (to counteract what I was spending)...a stop by Cato to try and find some jeans (yeah...wasn't happening)...then a shoe store for a new pair of kicks (I go through shoes fast in the warehouse...lots of ground to cover)...I didn't find sneakers but I did find some really bad ass Sketchers low boots, tie up, look like steel toes with my pants down over the top....and they were on sale so I didn't have a coronary buying them.  Thirty bucks for a pair of comfy shoes is totally in the budget...and then it was decided...yes, haircut.  Let's give it a try.  I text Jen and asked her to cross her fingers and hope for the best...she was in a smart ass mood and told me that she'd do it after she finished rubbing one out, haha... I needed that to say the least...she always makes me laugh.  Though she might have been very serious because I didn't get her "Good luck" text until after the haircut was finished, lol.

Doris, a stylist who had been doing hair for the same company since before I was born cut my hair.  She's not real up to date on Razor cuts so opted to do it another way... she listened and didn't scalp me so I'm content overall.  Now that my hair has been shaped up I feel confident that it will be easy for me to go in with a razor and texturize my hair the next time it needs cut...I know I can do the sides and front like I want...and hell I can always have Jen help me with the back...but that's still a month or two away.

I made two separate stops to pick up dinner.  I had called grandma at the end of my shift to check on her.  She was rather excited because she had driven for the first time since her fall, four months ago... Mom rode with her... Gma is going to driver herself to a Keenagers meeting this afternoon (thats the name of their 60+ group in the church....)...I ate dinner with her, which always makes her happy, she is stir crazy from being alone during the day sometimes so she creates shit for people to do so they'll come around which really just pisses them off and makes them not want to... but anyhoo...

I made a quick visit to my mom's house (it was already 9 o'clock at this point, so guess who didn't even bother pulling out her computer to work on a paper or two...) While there my mom told me about her traumatic driving/riding expedition with grandma....she told me about how she was scared for her life and had like an idiot refused every drug offered to her by her friend the medicine cabinet....Vicodin, Xanax, etc...I would have opted for the Xanax for sure...but hey that's just me.  She mentioned having to double check with grandma that she could feel her feet enough to use the brake... (she has neuropathy in her feet from diabetes)... she admitted to struggling at which point mom explained to grandma that if she wrecked mom wouldn't hesitate to SUE her, lol....which of course made me laugh.  I love going to mom's house because on most days all everyone does is laugh and I'm all down for that.

Mom and mandi asked me how lil man was doing with school so I summarized the bus issues that Jen is running into and told them about my new Thursday plans, effective today: I'll get off of work, drive into town, meet Jen at her townhouse... stay there with lil man... get his homework done if he has any... make him dinner...put him in the shower... put him to bed by 8:30 as to not screw up his sleep cycle... sign into my class meeting at 9... do that... still Jen's fast as shit internet.... wait for her to get home.... come back to the country... let Pepper out one last time.... crawl into bed.... and get up ass early to get to work on time for Friday.  Granted, I don't have to work this Friday...Grandma is still uneasy about taking care of the dog by herself so I have to head home to do that and won't be able to crash at Jens :(.  It's sad, I haven't stayed at Jens house since probably three months into our relationship....I'd say at least 7 months.  In previous relationships I'd stay at their place all the time if applicable, but Jen's roommate doesn't allow pets so since Pepper can't come with me...I have to make other arrangements... bummer.

Back to mom's house:  I start talking to my sister about how she's feeling and if she thinks she's going to have this baby anytime soon...(the 3D ultrasound says different dates when it measures different parts of the body)
Head: last week
Middle: Yesterday
Legs: next week or the week after due date, haha

She wanted the baby to be born yesterday so her bday would be 9.9.09...

Me: you know that baby's not going to be born today, just to spite you
Mandi: You know that this baby isn't going to be born this year just to spite all of you
Me: Damn, it's gonna be a little extra crispy isn't it
Mandi: Yeah, but at least her legs will be ready by then

Haha.  She's so worried about this baby having lil chicken legs...really worry about something serious like good health or something ha.  Then while we were all talking about the baby stuff somehow mandi's ass came into the discussion...I dunno, don't remember...I just remember her asking me if I wanted to "oil her perninium...oh wait what's that thing called she asked?" P-E-R-I-N-I-U-M (the area of human anatomy that has many names...taint, gooch...i dunno people tend to get creative with it.) She was talking about the scene in the Movie Baby Mama (if you haven't seen it you need to)... where they birthing coach tells the partners that they should massage olive oil around the perinium to help it stretch during birth and the pregnant chick raises her hand and asks if they can just spray it with PAM (cooking spray) instead...it's hilarious...

Anyway... a productive day I'd say.

If happiness were...

If happiness was an inanimate object it would be glitter for sure.  Sparkle-y and shiny and full of twinkles and hope.  Lol.  If I was on meds at this point I'd certainly go and get them readjusted... because I'm trippin balls I'm so happy.

I came to work this morning and finally caught up with the Assistant General Manager of the Distribution Center to see how he felt about me taking Friday off.  My boss can't cover because of the Company function (which was covered in a previous ranting blog)... so she told me to see what he thought about the matter.  He seems to believe that Friday's is going to entail a limited workforce (which translates into the bulk of the contractors not being here... and me twiddling my thumbs) so he thinks it will be fine.  I have to announce my planned absence at tomorrows morning meeting, leave a contact number (and take the phone list to call people out if necessary for monday from my personal cell...which hopefully won't happen because I don't want these people knowing my number)...and I'm in the clear for Friday.  HOORAY.

Granted things could change...but as of right now I'm content and planning on not being here on Friday.  Perhaps I will get my papers done on time (still haven't started them for anyone keeping record of my procrastination....) I did however pull up old files to see if I had an old business plan that could just be tweaked and resubmitted for this class...but I don't...

Happy Hump Day :) It's looking like a three day work week for me this week so ya'll know I'm stoked.  Oh and I'm about to go have Mexican on an "extended" lunch with "cheerleader" from work...because she's with the client i can justify and hour as opposed to half an hour because it's "biznazz" YAY...

Photo fun day

I'm in the mood for sharing random photos... I love taking pictures in general...doesn't matter what of--EVER.

This picture was taken from mom's front yard.  I love clouds and the open sky and sunsets :)

A dragonfly on the edge of my flower bed.... the flower bed has a border around it because it used to be a smoke house... It's about twelve inches deep with a concrete base... (it looked prettier than a random square in the yard) If I ever get the mums planted I'll post pics of the flower bed now...

I took this pic on one of my Hatteras Island getaway trips... The sports setting came in handy for this shot.

Purple Irises are MY FAVORITE... this one was in mom's flower bed...right after a rainstorm...

Me and my dad... mom just got word that he's off to Germany this weekend... he's been in Indiana getting additional training since he left at the beginning of August... after Germany... Kosovo for a year, bleck.

My last trip to Nashville was in '07.... I was trashed in this picture-- my friends and I hit up a couple gay bars, and some other bars along the way... I wanna say our first stop was Broadway brew or something... i just know it was a long night with lots of drinking... I need to venture out that way sometime soon... (maybe if I get a tax refund I'll take Jen...she'd love it)

This picture is from last summer... hehe.  I'm always changing my look.  This one of my louder ones, haha.  After my sister's graduation from Radford we went and got matching tattoos... plus I had another one added that day as well...and got my monroe pierced too...I took out the piercing for my warehouse gig though... two tatts and a piercing in one day was a lil much I might add, haha...

Yet another random look.  (I'm in the mood for a haircut but am trying not to, that's why I'm sharing some of my previous random looks, lol...) I want something different.... for this look I glued tracks (extensions) in the front of my hair and razor cut them for a real "emo" look, haha

Jen and I in the very beginning.  Lol.  She looks so different.  That was in like month one... she had super long hair, thick Brooke Shield's brows, and crazy long nails... If I recall we were at my brother's house for a bonfire after she got off of work...look at how shy she looked...

A more recent photo...
That's all for today...I'm procrastinating.  I haven't started my papers yet and I have a meeting for school in a few minutes...I've gotta stop slacking...

Bugger

I didn't sleep well at all, yet again.  I figure that everything off and on last night I got about 4 and 1/2 hours of sleep...I'm not tired right now but it didn't help me deal with the routine bullshit at work to say the least.  I was put into a bad mood almost immediately, though I tried really hard to not be.

I was talking to my boss this morning.  Her team came in 5th at the Gay World Series, so that's cool...but not what pissed me off.  I had asked her if it would okay for me to take Friday as a vacation day so that I'd have extra time to have my papers done... She told me that she wouldn't be able to cover it because the company outing was that day.  (There is a company outing?) And sense the outing is happening at her house she wouldn't be able to do it... maybe I should try taking a 1/2 a day she suggested.  Okay here's where I got pissed.  Not over the fact that I can't have the whole day... I'll leave and I can take responsibility with the fact that no one procrastinated but me and I have to deal with the repercussions....

What pissed me off is the fact that there is a company outing and I wasn't fucking invited.  Hello...I work for the company too. This is where the limbo shit comes into play and helps to illustrate why I feel like I'm on a deserted island from time to time.  You see last year I was invited to the function.  I was working 2nd shift then and at 4 o'clock the day of I was invited to come out and have a beer if I didn't want my hours.  I drove out to my bosses house where the keg was already floated, only three people from the office still remained and she was on the verge of passing out.  Yay...glad I drove an hour to get here just in time for it to be over (it had started at like ten or 11 that morning)....REALLY??? I ended up hanging out with my boss's girlfriend and some of their lesbo friends (no one from work) while she went in the house and passed out...okay no biggie.

The most recent company outing was to Busch Gardens--company paid, but I wasn't invited.  I was however asked to go to the main office to answer the phones.  No, that doesn't bother me in the slightest....WTF??? and now I find out about this function which if I was going to to be invited would have been after the fact or nonchalantly in passing...

I feel like this is some real bullshit to say the least.  The kicker is when I was hired, 13 months ago today it was with the intention of becoming an internal employee....well 13 months later and I'm still a "contractor"...I'm a supervisor but because I'm not internal, I don't get sick time or the perks of internal and because I'm a contractor I had to work 1500 hours before getting paid holidays and 2000 hours before getting a week of vacation.

The fucked up part is that if I did opt to only work 1/2 a day on Friday, I can't use my vacation time because since I'm a contractor I can only use my vacation in 8 hour increments... fuck me in the ass sideways.

I'm tired of this limbo shit.  I'm not invited to do shit with the client company because I work for the staffing agency and my own company doesn't ask me to do shit because I'm just a "contractor." Fuck the bullshit.  I'm so glad that I only have a couple weeks of school left.  As soon as I dont have homework to do my time will be spent updating my resume and finding my dream job.  I've had about all the repetitive non-challenging shit I can take at this place...and it baffles me.  Why have I remained so loyal to this company.  I've only called out once in 13 months and then I was legitimately ill...

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have a job, especially with the economy the way that it is--but I'm ready for a career.  This place was a mere stepping stone, a short stop on my journey to career greatness...but I'm feeling like I've overstayed my welcome.

I want a job that I feel good when I go home at the end of the day, like I've made a difference or had an impact on some aspect of the buisness or the people in it...I don't have that here.  I don't have that here at all.

I'm just a supervisor in limbo with no real niche to fit into...trapped in the middle and invisible by all.

Plans go awry

I had such big plans for my Labor Day.  There was no work since it dawned on the "big guys" that in a time where they are trying to cut expenses and what not, it was cheaper to not work rather than pay their people double time (since they were ahead of the game production wise)...

Today was going to be the day I put a huge dent in my papers since the deadlines are quickly approaching...The 12th at 9 o'clock--that's Saturday.  Dear lord.

I didn't sleep well last night for some reason.  I woke up to Jen giving me a kiss goodbye.  She had to work today and was taking Lil man to the sitters and I was going to get motivated and work on my papers.  I got up and tried to help her to her car...she's very "mommish" in that she is one of those people that can carry like seventeen bags, a kid, a drink, and like nine other things ALL AT THE SAME TIME... so in actuality I was no help at all.  I had a bowl of cereal with grandma and went back upstairs with intentions of starting on my paper.

The bed looked more enticing than the computer so I laid back down.  I sat an alarm so that I wouldn't get too carried away, which I ignored all nine times it went off.  At 11:15 I started texting Jen asking her why the hell I was soooo tired and unmotivated...I woke up at 12 something and actually finished typing the text and sent it...it made no damn sense how tired I was.

I blogged a lil bit though it took what seemed like all day because of how tired I was... Before I knew it it was like four o'clock in the afternoon and I hadn't even done so much as log into my school's website.

I went out to the flower bed thinking that the mums werent going to plant themselves and today's the day...it had been raining off and on all day so the weeds in theory were going to be easy to pull.  Within three seconds of being out there I saw like nineteen spiders of varying sizes and species, but I kept going...giving myself a pep talk of sorts and trying to make a point that I COULD do this ONE thing...

I got about 1/5 of the way finished...pulling weeds that came up past my knees.  My insides turning and me skeeving out because of all the bugs and ick that was crawling around.  I was scared to death of reaching my bare hand around the base of a clump of weeds and yanking and unveiling the domicile for the king spider--a big mother fucker that is fluent in like nine different languages and when discovered would look at me with his million eyes and say, "Pardon me maam, what's the meaning of this...." (you see, he'd be able to tell from my scream that I only spoke english and would choose his words accordingly, lol)...The rain came.  A drizzle here and there but then it started pouring.  I was going to stick it out just out of principle, but when Pepper go to the point of noting how ridiculous this was I had to take the hint from Mother Nature who was telling me to stop fucking procrastinating.

I came in and showered.  Cussing.  The only thing that came out of it were muddy foot prints in the bathroom that now have to be cleaned.  Fuck it.  I have accomplished nothing.  Wasted an entire day.  I don't want to do anything.  I thought about rearranging the living room, and the bedroom, deep cleaning the upstairs--didn't happen.

I want to cry and sleep and then sleep some more.  Grandma had people over so that was fun.  Fuck me in the ass sideways.  I want to disappear.  I want to pay someone to write a paper for me, but no one would do it for what I can afford.  I just need to tighten up and do them.

Tomorrow I have new starts and I'm not looking forward to work at all.  In the evening I've got a class meeting then Wednesday I might be able to squeeze in some research/paper writing.  Thursday is another class meeting...maybe I'll ask for friday off if my boss will approve it and then just go sit in the library until the shit is done...

Fuck.  Last day of classes is the 20th and I so don't have it in me to give a shit about anything.  My research paper is going to be on Domestic partner benefits and diversity training in the workplace in reference to homosexuals.  For my business plan I think my fake business will have something to do with coming to your place of business and doing diversity training or something, I dunno I'll figure out some bullshit and make it sound good...just not tonight.

Lil man starts school in the morning and poor Jen is freaking I'm sure.  I wish I could be there with her to help our and make her realize that it's going to be okay, that HE'S going to be okay...

I'm calling it a night. sigh.

Bzzzzzzzzed.

Jen knew something was up when I met her in the driveway when she got off of work Saturday night and told her to set her stuff down, "let's chill out here for a bit" while I unlocked my car and grabbed my emergency pack of smokes (Marlboro Smooths)... She Looked at me questionably with eyebrow raised a look that translated to, WTF? is wrong with you, you never wanna hang outside in the dark and you like NEVER smoke...

Hehe... I shared a cigarette with her and sat on the hood of my car, happy go lucky, chatty Cathy style... just full of randomness... She wasn't used to me in this manner.  I admitted that I had misjudged when she'd get to my house and started drinking too early, lol.  While I had bought my customized six pack on Friday, I didn't drink it until Saturday... I saved the Purple Haze since she had never tried it so we could "share the experience..."

So what was up?  Well I was on beer 5 and 1/2 (and for me who only occasionally taps the rockies a beer or two at a time that was crucial)...lol. So I had a nice lil buzz, was excited Jen had made it to my house... I had already put lil man to bed so he was knocked out...that meant a few more beers to unwind and we'll just see what happened...(side note: Jen has requested that from now on when I refer to "tapping the rockies" it should be code for having sex with her since she's from colorado/Rockies....but I don't know how I feel about that since I've always referred to her as an all you can eat mexican buffet...but I'll consider it)

She finished off the last of my Wild Blue blueberry Lager and wanted more, but all I had was Purple Haze which I told her tasted like a fruity beer with a "bong hit" after taste--she disagreed but didn't hate it, lol. Long story short, as the night progressed we got sillier and sillier....

Jen in my Yankees cap-- I love this pic of her...

After a few Purple Haze(s) :)  I'll take this is good shit for 1000 Alex

Purple Haze commercial?? Come on give it a try, everyone's doing it.

I looked over to see lil man's Spongebob shoes and just HAD to try them on... (you may recall, he's FIVE!!)

Pepper snuggles with Jen, Jen offers some Purple Haze, pepper declined.
The evening concluded with some X rated deeds (I'm sure everyone can use their imagination if you even want to go there....) The funniest thing is that I had this whole kinky fun evening planned (alcohol and waiting on Jen to get off of work definitely contributed to my master plan)... My kinky bubble was almost busted when I was in the middle of some stuff thinking "Yeah I'm a rock star...you like that huh...and she randomly looks at me and says, "So um, do you want me to get the step ladder..." HAHAHAHAHA.... I could have died.  I felt three feet tall to her eight... In real life I'm like 5'3 to her 5'7 or 5'8, I dunno... my plotting prior to her arrival had failed to calculate the height difference  in some areas of my "master plan..."  I love that the two of us can laugh at even the most inappropriate times and still love each other in the end.
SUNDAY:
We spent the day with Grandma, taking her on a car ride and running errands.  We all had lunch together, made a few stops, visited some folks and after dropping Gma off at the house for a nap, ended up at mom's house for some burgers on the grill.

My brother the grill master??? His shirt was too short and his ensemble was rather scary, seriously dude--you left your house in camo slippers, boardshorts and a shirt that was way to short.  YIKES.  The regulator is going out on mom's grill so it took like three hours for the burgers to cook.

Sunset from mom's back porch.
A fabulous weekend indeed.
